Agencies and organisational chart

The following are agencies of the Consortium:
the General Assembly; Producers’ Company Meeting; Board of Directors; Executive Committee; President of the Consortium and of the Board of Directors; Director; Board of Auditors; Consortium Committee.

In particular, by law the Consortium comprises 66% producers of Prosciutto di San Daniele (prosciutto factories), and 33% breeders, slaughterers, cutters and packagers. 
It has two assemblies: the Consortium Members’ Assembly and the Producers’ Assembly.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF CONSORTIUM MEMBERS
The Assembly is made up of all the Members (also represented individually and/or in associated form). It is composed of all the recognised prosciutto factories operating with Prosciutto di San Daniele Protected Denomination of Origin (PDO), as well as Assica, national professional association which represents the slaughtering industries, and the Breeders’ Association of Friuli Venezia Giulia, which represents all breeders who operate in the PDO chain.
The General Assembly approves the balance sheet and elects the Board of Directors

PRODUCERS’ ASSEMBLY
The Producers’ Assembly is exclusively made up of producers of Prosciutto di San Daniele, who qualify their production with a quota of Protected Demonination of Origin product at their own factory located at  San Daniele del Friuli.
The Producers’ Assembly nominates 66% of the representatives in the Board of Directors of the producers’ section
